Curtis Dahl has been teaching piano for over 20 years, with the past 6 here at Happy Valley Arts Academy. Although his focus is on Classical music, he also likes to dabble in Jazz and Pop music as well. Even though he enjoys teaching beginners, he is also very comfortable teaching advanced students. Fellow HVAA teachers often send, or “graduate” their advancing students along to him if the students desire to climb to the next level. Besides teaching piano, he is also an experienced recording engineer, a skill he studied at Berklee College of Music after receiving his Bachelor’s degree in Piano from Walla Walla College.
