A new resident of Oregon, Erin (they/them) received their Bachelor of Arts degrees in Music Education And Performance from the University of California, Los Angeles, and is looking forward to completing their Masters in Music Education from the University of Michigan in early 2025. Before moving to Oregon, Erin was the Instrumental Music Director at Highland High School in Palmdale, CA from 2019 to 2024. There, Erin was responsible for teaching multiple levels of band, jazz, orchestra and many more ensembles. Erin specializes in teaching drum set and concert percussion at all levels and in all styles. Erin also works with the Portland Youth Philharmonic as their Community Programs Manager where they use their platform to help advocate for arts education in the Portland area.
