Piano, Voice | Happy Valley

Classical/opera Voice training. Religious background. Has been on staff at HVAA since June 2019. As she often shared that she loves music and sharing her gifts as a teacher to inspire others who have a desire to learn the technique and art of singing and playing music, as an expression of themselves and just for fun. She has studied and performed piano since age 6, singing since age 5. Her masters Degree is in Vocal Performance. She has: studied abroad at Opera Barga in Italy, been principal soloist for several churches locally and throughout the US through syndicated TV, been a member/soloist of the Oregon Repertoire Singers for 2 yrs, been on the concert circuit for 8 yrs, taught both voice and piano off and on since 1978. One of her favorite quotes is: “Music washes away from the soul the dust of everyday life.” It best expresses how therapeutic music can be. She is very patient, encouraging and kind and knows how to inspire all age groups.
