Jerod is a musician originally from Alaska but has been living in Portland, OR since 2017. Attending the Lionel Hampton School of Music at the University of Idaho and studying with the great composer and percussionist Dan Bukvich, expanded his jazz proficiency and love for kicking a horn section. He has a Bachelor's Degree in Instrumental Performance for Percussion with a Jazz Emphasis. After traveling for 10 years as a Showband Drummer and Musical Director for Carnival Cruise Line, he now performs in the WA/OR area for local bands such as Shades of Huey and Roll On. He currently teaches private piano and drum lessons at Happy Valley Arts Academy.
