My passion is teaching all ages and levels of piano students. I have taught young students both in groups and privately. I mainly attended Western Washington State College and Wenatchee Valley College; I also earned an Artist diploma and certifications. I maintained a studio of 30 - 37 private students in Washington from 1990 - 2019 before I moved with my husband to Oregon to be near our children. Romantic era music is probably my favorite though I love Classical and Jazzy music too. Martha Mier, E. Rocherolle, W. Gillock, and of course Chopin are my favorite composers but I have many favorites. I usually use Alfred or Faber methods books. I want to nurture musical growth in students in a fun and positive way.
