Guitar, Voice | Tigard, Wilsonville

OLIVER ‘OLLY’ (Them/Their) - As a teacher, Olly aims to educate from a place of  passion and understanding. Olly has a musical theatre and choral background and have held a  love of music since early childhood. Their classroom is a safe space for students who may be shy, inexperienced, neurodivergent, or LGBTQIA+. Olly describes their teaching approach as  encouraging, patient, and engaging. Their students are encouraged to communicate with them  and tell Olly what works for them and what doesn't, in order to find the most effective way for  them to learn and enjoy making music.

Olly teaches with the idea in mind that students have been drawn to music for whatever reason  and want to help bring out the passions they maybe haven't tapped into yet. Their goal is to  work towards a place where students feel comfortable and confident in their musical abilities.  Olly’s ideal student is one with a desire to strengthen their abilities, has a love of music, and/or  needs a gentle nudge towards confidence.

We're social!
“Music in itself is healing. It’s an explosive expression of humanity. It’s something we are all touched by. No matter what culture we’re from, everyone loves music.”
- Billy Joel
