Bachelor of Music in Guitar, Master of Music in Guitar, studies at Berklee College of Music. Pam is an enthusiastic teacher who loves to bring out the music in her students. She enjoys teaching whatever her students want to learn. Pam first became interested in music after hearing the Beatles.  Pop and rock were her main interests until she gradually became aware of classical music and the repertoire on guitar. Her teaching method involves teaching students to read music and getting them as quickly as possible to learn music they love. Pam has been studying, teaching and performing on guitar for most of her life. She taught guitar, music theory and music history at Portland Community College for 16 years. She has performed many types of music from classical to bluegrass to Brazilian and has visited Brazil three times to study there. She plays with the Brazilian music group Choro da Alegria and also performs in classical music chamber ensembles.
