Sage is a piano and guitar teacher who works with beginner and intermediate piano students and beginner guitarists. They teach classical, popular, and rock piano, along with a wide range of guitar styles, especially country, folk, and fingerstyle. Sage’s teaching philosophy centers on helping students feel musically empowered, creating a supportive environment where music feels like home. They break down complex concepts into small, manageable steps to build strong foundations and a sense of mastery. Inspired by their background in the Suzuki method, Sage emphasizes learning by ear alongside reading music to encourage expressive, joyful playing. Sage performed in the Suzuki 10 Piano Concert in 2014 and recently released their first original EP as a music producer.
