Tristan is an experienced musician with a strong foundation and style stemming from a diverse pool of musical influence. He began playing music in 2013 after becoming inspired by the rock music of the 1970’s. In his time playing the drums, Tristan has mastered playing and performing a multitude of different genres and styles including funk, jazz, rock and even punk and metal music. He graduated with an associate in Music Technology and Sound Engineering from Lane Community College in 2023. Over the years, Tristan has participated in numerous performances, recording sessions and tours, showcasing his versatile musical background. As a teacher, Tristan encourages students to take ownership of their musical journey by exploring the types of music they are most passionate about. His teaching style emphasizes not only technique but also emotional connection to the music. With a student-centered approach, Tristan is committed to building students' confidence and helping them grow into well-rounded musicians.
